  • Students from outside the EU and EEA who apply to study at Omnia may be required to pay a annual tuition fee for upper secondary education starting from 1 August 2026. The fee applies to both vocational education and training and general upper secondary (lukio) studies when the student’s residence permit in Finland is based on studies.

    For citizens of Finland and EU/EEA countries or Switzerland studying in vocational education and general upper secondary school is primarily free of charge. Citizens of countries other than EU or EEA member states may be charged a tuition fee for upper secondary education. For young people subject to compulsory education, studying in Finland is free of charge. Please review the information relevant to your situation carefully before applying.
