Accepting a study place in the continuous application process
The results will be sent to you by email. If you are admitted as a student, you must accept your study place by the given deadline.
- You will receive a link from Opintopolku (Studyinfo) through which you can accept the study place.
- You can also accept the study place by logging in to My Studyinfo (opintopolku.fi). This requires strong authentication, for example with online banking credentials.
- If accepting the study place electronically does not work, you can also accept it by sending an email to haku@omnia.fi
Please also inform us if you wish to cancel the offered study place. You can cancel the place in the My Studyinfo service or by notifying us by email at haku@omnia.fi.
If you are not selected and are placed on the waiting list, you will also receive a notification about this. Your application will remain valid for two weeks after the start of the studies. We may offer you a study place if any become available.
Your application may be rejected due to things such as insufficient language skills. You will then receive a message from us informing you of this and directing you to other Omnia services.
Accepting a study place in the joint application process
Receive your study place electronically. You will receive a confirmation link from Studyinfo.fi (Opintopolku.fi). You can also log in directly to My Studyinfo (opintopolku.fi) using e-Identification with Finnish online banking credentials.
You must accept the offered study place by the given deadline. If you do not do so, your study place will be offered to an applicant on the waiting list.
Your application may be rejected due to things such as insufficient language skills. You will then receive a message from us informing you of this and directing you to other Omnia services. If you wish, you may also cancel the study place you have been offered.
