At OSKE, your previous skills and goals are taken into account
During the Skills Centre assessment, we will determine together:
- What skills you already have
- What you have learned at school, at work, through hobbies, and at home — both in your home country and in Finland
- What goals and opportunities you have for entering working life
The assessment means that you will make a plan together with an OSKE staff member for job searching or participation in training. Your further path will depend on your skills and life situation.
If you have the skills needed for employment, you will move to the Job Search Path and start applying for jobs with the support of OSKE staff.
If your skills are not yet sufficient for employment, you will be directed to the Training Path. In the training, you will learn things that help you get a job or apply for vocational education.
