Project description
Two trainings organized for young immigrants. Trainings offer transferable skills needed in further studies and working life. Objectives are to prevent marginalization and enhance social sustainability. Trainings consist of Finnish language, study and communication skills, civics, working life studies, student counseling and services of a school social worker.
Target groups
Training is primarily for 17- to 19-year-old immigrants who have completed comprehensive school, or are about to complete it, and are not in employment, education or training (NEET). Secondarily for 20- to 29-year-old immigrants belonging to the Finnish youth guarantee target group.
