Project description
Two trainings were organized for young immigrants. Trainings offered transferable skills needed in further studies and working life. Objectives were to prevent marginalization and enhance social sustainability. Trainings consisted of Finnish language, study and communication skills, civics, working life studies, student counseling and services of a school social worker.
Target groups
Training was primarily for 17- to 19-year-old immigrants who had completed comprehensive school, or were about to complete it, and were´t in employment, education or training (NEET). Secondarily for 20- to 29-year-old immigrants who belonged to the Finnish youth guarantee target group.
