Description of the training
The Vocational Qualification in Business at Omnia provides versatile skills for careers in customer service, sales, commerce. You can choose a study path based on your own interests within these fields.
During your studies, you will learn to work in a customer-oriented way, develop your interaction skills, and gain the abilities needed to work in various companies and organizations. The program includes in-person and online instruction, as well as on-the-job learning. You also have the opportunity to complete studies or a work placement abroad.
After completing the qualification, you will have the opportunity to apply for further studies at a university of applied sciences or a university.

Details of the training
What kind of jobs will you graduate for?
As a vocational qualification in business graduate, you can work in companies within the commerce and service sectors in customer service, sales, marketing, or e-commerce roles. Positions may include, for example, sales assistant, visual merchandiser, sales representative, customer advisor in finance and insurance, product group or department manager, product representative, financial or marketing assistant, or sales secretary.
Duration of the training
The duration of studies is individual. The average duration of studies is between two and three years. The duration of studies is determined by the personal competence development plan (PCDP) and is influenced by, among other things, your previous studies, work experience and individual study needs.
Implementation
The training consists of inspiring training days, learning tasks, group and project work, independent work, instruction in small groups and on-the-job learning. There are 3–5 training days per week.
You can create your own study path by including, for example, studies from a university of applied sciences, general upper secondary school studies, sports studies, or entrepreneurship studies in your qualification.
Application
Vocational qualifications in English are appropriate for those, who wish to study in English. However, basic command of Finnish is also necessary.

Admission is based on the information in the application, so please fill out your application carefully.
The applicant is expected to familiarise themselves with the important information on the continuous admission.
There is no entrance examination.

Language requirements
The language requirement is A2.1 for Finnish and B2 for English.
The applicants will be invited to the language tests (Finnish and English) by e-mail. The language tests can be completed only at Omnia campuses in Espoo, Finland. Read more about the language requirements.
