Project description
TILLSAMMANS för Finland - YHDESSÄ Suomen hyväksi promotes home internationalization together with Vamia- institute from Vasa and Ålands yrkesinstitute from Åland. Project partners arrange one-month-long reciprocal student mobility periods for their students in the vocational fields of Business and Administration, Social and Health Care, Cooking, Automotive Engineering and wood processing. Safety and Security field organizes group visits between Vamia and Omnia for their students to practice special skills in their field together.
One objective is to offer opportunities to learn both domestic languages: Swedish or Finnish, the specially the one, which students do not master best and add cultural understanding towards people, who speak the other language than the speaker him-/herself. This project also enables students to do the learning unit called: International pathway into professionalism in the home country.
