Project description
The project explored how to better respond to the increased skills requirements of working life, especially from the perspective of digitalisation. We produced new technology-based learning packages and piloted new forms of collaboration with companies. The main experimental environment was the Omnia Makerspace space established in the A Grid community in Otaniemi, Espoo.
Target groups
The operating model has benefited e.g. technology companies and start-ups, especially in the Espoo economic area. New enriched digital content (e.g. XR and 360 escape room-styled gamified learning packages) as well as experiments with flexible manufacturing technologies (3D modeling and printing, laser cutting) have provided openings to the latest digital technology not only for companies and graduate students, but also for the work force and the unemployed.
