Project description
The aim of the project was to form a view of how and in which fields of vocational education and training the learning material is acquired, produced and distributed: What are the main means of production, distribution channels and licensing methods, and the degree of transparency. The aim was also to find out in which fields and subjects the biggest costs of producing and purchasing materials are, and what types of materials and equipment cause the most significant costs from the point of view of both the educational institution and the student.
Another aim was to write a report on which digital learning materials have already been made or are available for piloting fields. This report may be used to calculate what would be the costs of free of charge learning (students’ and organization’s points of view).
