Project description

The project’s aim is to develop a model for VET to improve students’ basic skills. The model aims to test entering students’ basic skills, to enhance them in their studies and to create a model path to those students who need to develop their basic skills. Another aim is to develop a model for recognition, realisation and evaluation criteria for qualifications of common units.

Omnia’s aims are:

  • To provide digital material for the recognition of prior learning and to set up digital or physical assessment events.
  • To develop linguistic aware learning material for those who have Finnish as a second language. The material will be accessible and provided via multiplexer channel.
  • To create a model to integrate common units with practice – the material will be provided on a Workseed -platform.
  • To update teachers’ know-how in order to produce linguistic awareness material.
