The AV UP – New Competence for the AV Industry project is a three-year and national AV education development project, which aims to strengthen the industry's expertise and support the growth needs of productions by anticipating the development needs of the industry, developing education in the field and increasing cooperation between educational institutions and working life in the field. The AV UP project is based on the Creative Economy Roadmap and the AV Growth Agreement, initiated by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy and the Ministry of Education. The AV UP project has five development targets, or so-called work packages, each of which focuses on developing AV education and operations from different perspectives. Omnia manages and is responsible for the implementation of work package four (TP4). TP4 is mapping out financing models suitable for the educational products developed in the project and also making new openings for financing AV education in Finland.
