Complete the Working in an International Work Environment Unit

As a vocational student in Omnia, you have the possibility to choose the international unit of qualification as part of your qualification.

In these studies, you will get familiar with other cultures and you can also include more language courses in your studies. See the course offering in Wilma (omnia.inschool.fi), in Espoo Adult Education Centre (Espoon työväenopisto) (ilmonet.fi) or in Espoon aikuislukio.

Tell about your interest in international studies to your own teacher once you start studying at Omnia.  Fix then a meeting with a teacher, who is responsible for international studies at Omnia in your own study field. With him/her you can plan your studies accordingly. International services helps you then to find a proper workplace abroad to fulfil a learning at work period.

The unit of the qualification includes a Moodle course, during which you will prepare yourself for the learning at working life in an international company. Your own tutor teacher or the teacher responsible for internationalisation in your field will grant you permission to this course once you have indicated that you’re interested in taking this unit of qualification.

Working in an international work environment

You may receive as many as 15 competence points, when you carry out a study unit Working in an international work environment. This study unit can be studied either abroad or by working in an international company in Finland.
