Career counselling services

Career guidance is available to anyone who wants to develop their skills or plan a new educational pathway. The service is open to all people living in Finland, regardless of background or employment or study situation. 

Career counselling is a good fit for you, if you

• need more information about different study options and how to apply
• want to plan a new career or education pathway or develop your skills 

Career counselling will give you

 individual guidance

• support in exploring different options
• support in creating a follow-up plan
• information about different study options
• information about financial support during studies and available benefits

Discussions with a career guidance counsellor are confidential. If you wish, you can also use the service anonymously. The service is available in Finnish and English. You may also bring your own interpreter. The duration of career guidance depends on your individual needs. The service is free of charge.

• Remote meetings (Teams or phone)
