At Espoo Adult Education Center, a functional literacy and writing training for those who have exceeded their integration period will begin on August 28, 2023. The training is free of charge and is primarily intended for non-Finnish-speaking residents of Espoo who have not previously participated in literacy and writing courses. The aim of the training is to identify further educational pathways for participants after completing the training, as well as to recognize their own strengths and opportunities. The training will be carried out through multidisciplinary collaboration between a social services coordinator, a special education teacher, and a Finnish language teacher. The training is suitable for: – Those aspiring to enter the workforce – Those capable of working – Those motivated to learn – Those able to commit to their studies.

Target groups

Foreign-language-speaking Espoo residents who have exceeded their integration period and have not previously participated in a literacy and writing skills course.
