Technical support for studying from home
A new team on Teams-app has been created to support studying from home. The team is open to all Omnia’s students – come learn with us!
How to join the team?
- Proceed to ”Etäopetuksen ja -ohjauksen tuki” -team.
- Log in with your Omnia account.
- Choose type of usage:
- Close the notification of downloading the desktop version or
- Download the desktop version on to your computer.
- And you’re in the team!
We recommend downloading the desktop version onto your computer at some point.
In the team the DigiTutors will organize technical support and guidance for studying from home. There will also be conversations and sharing of good tips within the group. Helpdesk@omnia.fi will help with use of equipment and services, account details and passwords, as well as different systems used in Omnia.
You can ask for help in different channels within the team, where the DigiTutors will be on call on weekdays from 8am to 3pm. If you are having troubles accessing the team, please be in contact with the DigiTutors via email email@example.com or tel. 040 126 7154.

Student care services are available during the pandemic
School and student health care guidance, advice and appointment booking as of 23 March 2020:

We have currently centralized our services to just few locations. If you have questions about school and student health care services, please call the above-mentioned numbers. Your calls will be answered by our public health nurses. They will also know which of our locations are open. Read more in English.
The Kirkkonummi student health care guidance, counseling and appointment bookings are available through contacting student health nurses:

Appointments for welfare officers and psychologists will be arranged via remote contacts and separate visits with students. See contact information for welfare officers and psychologists (in Finnish).
