During the visit, the Minister and his delegation heard presentations about vocational education and training in Finland as well as on Omnia and Omnia Education Partnership.
The visit also included a tour in Omnia’s premises, where the delegation was introduced to Omnia’s learning environments, such as the carpentry class room and landscape building classroom.
“We were inspired to visit Finland as its education system is one of the best in world”, said Mr Sulaiman during the visit.
“In Brunei, we are in the process of reforming the whole education system and we are learning a lot from this visit. There are many fields of professions where we need to train new employees, and vocational education is rather popular in Brunei", he pointed out.
