Hanako Network Seminar was held in Omnia on the 26th and 27th of November.
The audience from Finland and Japan heard from the Ambassador Joto Yamamoto, who emphasized the importance of collaboration between the countries.
Among the speakers of the seminar there was also Hanna Autere, Counsellor of Education at the Finnish National Agency for Education. Autere focused on the role of internationalisation in education in her presentation.
Omnia’s Director General Sampo Suihko introduced Omnia to the guests and provided them with information on the organisation’s recent development.
On the second day of the event, there were workshops for the participants.
Hanako Network is a collaboration network between Finland and Japan. Its role is to advance and promote student and staff exchange and innovate new methods of studying and teaching in vocational education, for example.
Hanako Network was founded in 2007 with the support of Finnish National Agency of Education.
