Welcome to hear a firsthand account of life at Eton College by a former pupil (JGLN,1987). Originally founded in 1440 by King Henry VI to provide free education to 70 poor boys who would then go on to King's College, Cambridge (founded in 1441) Eton College has become a world renown Public School. Henry Rawstorne (JGLN ‘87) provides an insight into the world of Beaks, gowns, tailcoats and Dames, as well as the customs, sports and education that has made this school unique. Old boys (ex-pupils) include HRH Prince Harry, David Cameron (former PM), as well as the writers George Orwell and Aldous Huxley.
