Digiosaava.fi – Developing Digitalization Competencies and Management

Project description

The Digiosaava.fi project promotes digital competencies in Vocational Education and Training Organizations in Finland. The project supports the goal of using new technology extensively and innovatively to support learning, as well as the development of the digital learning environment. As digital skills and competencies grow, VET organizations can efficiently utilize the opportunities digitalization offers and respond to the challenges related to digitalization.

During the project a digital management and competence development package is created for all VET organizations. The end product of the project is a Virtual Competence Campus that offers competence development paths aimed at different target groups. The learning material in the competence paths enables quick learning and adopting of the project themes. The material can also be utilized in planning and developing the digitalization of an organization.

The development work is done in a wide cooperation network of Finnish VET organizations. In total 77 VET organizations take part in the project. The project is coordinated by TTS (Työtehoseura).
