Happy beginning of the winter holidays to everyone! At the beginning of the year, a lot has happened at Omnia. It's already winter vacation time.
Vacation does not mean time off and vacation trips for everyone. Many of you have studies or work based learning next week. Some of you are preparing for the matriculation examination. Many of you are also working during the holiday week.
Whatever your plan is for the holiday, remember to take care of yourself! Let's enjoy the increasing light and the singing of the birds.

KULPS culture vouchers for the 1st year vocational students and TUVA students
Espoo City offers KULPS culture vouchers for Omnia's first year students and TUVA students. Apprenticeship students are also entitled for the benefit.
You can collect your voucher from your teacher or at InfoOmnia after mid-February on a specified date. The voucher is for personal use only and everyone needs to pick up their own voucher.

Ohjaamo Olotila Living Room
Young Adults (18-30 years old) Living Room is open every Monday at Leppävaara Ohjaamotalo Starttipiste between 3 and 6 pm. It is space for games, hanging out, meeting new people, studying and other projects. There is a ping pong table, Nindendo Switch and many card and board games. More information (espoo.fi).

Apply for your period of work based learning abroad!

Could this be the best thing in your life so far?
Would you like to have some new experiences and a little bit different period of work based learning?
Omnia's vocational students can participate in work based learning abroad and include the period in their qualification. The length of the period is normally 1-6 months. The countries and cities vary according to the qualification. It is also possible to find the placement themselves and apply for grants for their work based learning period.

The application period for autumn 2023 is open at Wilma until 31.3.2023.
