Project description

Vierko 2 – Development of teaching in foreign languages and improvement of the supply and quality of teaching of national languages in vocational education and training. The project is focused on creating new teaching models and learning materials for foreign language vocational education, while also developing diverse learning environments and approaches. The offering of foreign-language courses and English-language content in common units will be expanded. In addition, easy-to-read materials will be produced and compiled, and the language and intercultural competence of stakeholders will be improved. The main goal is to strategically develop language-aware and multicultural practices. Student services will be enhanced in a holistic way, taking into account networks, collaboration with the workforce, and social impact. The objective is to also continue the implementation of the results of the Vierko 1 project.

Target groups

Vocational training providers, both within and outside the project. The content and objectives of the project’s development and training package serve foreign language students in particular. The indirect target group is also working life, and in particular workplace counselors.
